This is a longshot after so many years but will give it a try. In early 1967 I was in Vung Tau picking up a new Helicopter Type for my Unit ( C Btry/2nd 20th Aerial Rocket Artillery, 1st Cav Div). Whew! I met 2 161 Officers, Lieuts as I recall. Had a few beers and talked them into getting me a box of 9mm ammo to use in the MAT49 SMG I was hauling around with me. We, in the US Army had no 9mm. Anyhoo, was a nice break with them and exchanged addresses then current with invites to visit if ever in NZ or the US. Never happened as for my part lost the names, etc prior to leaving in April 67. If possible could you run this in your journal, perhaps they may be still around I hope, and this would ring a bell for them. Contact me via email flytiger@cableone.net. Thanks for this and thanks for the support 161 gave and your military continue to give today.

Maybe someone could contact Bob to suggest names of that time? Ed
