Major E.C. (Ted) Lile passed away on Thursday 9 June 2011 at 3.45am at Middlemore Hospital after declining health due, in some part, to cancer. He is survived by his wife Nes and sons Martin and Rob.
Ted's funeral will be held at Manukau Memorial Gardens, 357 Puhinui Road, Papatoetoe at 1230pm on Monday 13 June 2011.
