Once a Gunner, always a Gunner

Hugh Vercoe and his bunch of stalwarts, O'B, Barry Cook, Jack Mills and those other Gunners who helped with the weekend thank you from the bottom of their hearts for attending and making this last weekend. BLOODY MARVELLOUS. The Rev Bob Short's conduct of the Service was nothing short of very stirring, as was the band, BLOODY MARVELLOUS.
There will be a wash-up meeting shortly, as soon as Hugh lets me know a date.

However, there is a most important message that has to be sent out. After 100 years our numbers were abysmal, we are a dying breed so please join me in resurrecting our Corps by taking an interest, namely in The RNZA Association Inc. You will find them on MuzzleFlashes.blogspot.com

On the internet you will be able to read, and add, interesting Gunner items. But don't just let it go "oh I will think about it later". The Assn has an Annual Reunion, normally in Taupo, and there is a most brilliant Gunner's Day Formal Dinner at the Papakura RSA always on 26 May. If you wish to toss this in file 13 then you will be assisting the death of Gunners. Remember what Ron Cross said in his Toast To THE Regiment 'Once a Gunner, always a Gunner!'
