Gunners Helping Gunners
We are aware of the large number of initiatives which have been taken by people all around NZ in response to the devastating situation in Christchurch. All the reports show how families and communities have pulled together for the common good, and the RNZA Association wishes to play its part by providing support to any member of the `Family of Gunners.`We wish to offer accommodation for any Gunner, (serving or retired), or any member of their family (wives, partners, children) who just needs a break away from Christchurch. This includes transport to and from the destination airport.
What needs to be done;
For any Christchurch gunner or member of their family who needs (or just wants) a place to stay for a while, just email rnza.association@gmail.com. Accomodation will be coordinated by Judy Dreyer who has a 24 hr Ph # 09 307 5692. Her email address is j.dreyer@clear.net.nz should you wish to contact her directly.
For all Gunners outside of Christchurch; If you have spare accommodation which you are prepared to offer to our Christchurch friends, please email to rnza.association@gmail.com. Please include your address, contact details and number of people you could take. We will then be in touch to co-ordinate timings, matching requirements with availability, and any other administrative matters.
