Harry Honnor followed up the email about subs with a phone call to Tony McLeod on Saturday. He reported that he and Pat have now completed their move into a Retirement Village in Kamo (Whangarei) and that they are both fit and well. When he checked my credentials and I reported that I am perhaps one of the most senior gunners NOT to have gone to Viet Nam (didn`t graduate from Duntroon until Dec `72), he reminded me that he was one of the youngest officers to go to Korea, and one of the oldest to go to Viet Nam. Quite a career. It was great to hear from him and we all wish him well in his new home.

Editor's comment. It would be great to get more of these notes and updates to keep everyone in the swim when you are well. Much better than waiting 'til you are crook as so often happens.
