I visited Frank today in Ward 14, North Shore Hospital. He is as chipper as ever, clear-minded and able to recount his whole adventure with good humour. His speech is slightly stilted but easy to follow even for a deafy like me. He's looking forward to spending the weekend at home with Pat, and to discharge at about the end of the month. Frank enjoys company so, if you're in the neighbourhood, drop in for a chat. The hour passed very quickly.
Cheers, Mike Dakin
