Report from Pat Duggan in Christchurch

Contact has been made with Christchurch. We can report that no physical damage to themselves or their properties has been surtained by "Gunners" Duggan, O'Connor and Masters. They are of course quite shaken by this morning's event. The gunners are teaching their wives how to cope with no power and more importantly no water. Based on past experience from those who knew him in Vietnam I understand that lack of or rationing of water may be an isssue for Paul O'Connor, who is currently engaged in civil defence duties in Christchurch.
