The formal approval process of the award of a Korean Presidential Unit Citation is not complete. Even if the ceremonial was agreed now, there is insufficient time to arrange for veterans to participate, so a separate parade will be organised when the time comes.
16th Field regiment has decided that the parade on the 28 October will now be a medals and awards parade complete with a commemoration of the unit's last 60 years of service.
Those outside the Regt who wish to attend are more than welcome to do so. After the parade, 163 Bty will have a display of current equipments (Guns; prediction system; signals; observation and UAV). The RSM, WO1 Steve Harvey, is co-ordinating this parade.
